Apobio Film is Apoena Biotech's latest release for the national and international markets during the first half of 2024. The launch schedule initially covered Europe and the United States during the in-cosmetics Global and NYSCC Suppliers' Day trade shows. In South America and other continents, it will be presented during direct commercial visits and through its distribution network.

Apobio Film is a multifunctional, biofilm-forming postbiotic product with moisturizing properties for hair and skin care. Produced from the fermentation of probiotic bacteria, it is rich in polysaccharides and fructooligosaccharides, which prevent transepidermal water loss. Promotes immediate and deep hydration for up to 72 hours with proven safety and effectiveness.

Apobio Film forms a protective film on the hair surface, as shown in SEM-FEG images. This barrier retains moisture within the hair, prolonging hydration and preventing dryness.

DSC measurements indicate a shift in the peak water vaporization temperature from 64.80 to 84.30 °C, meaning a 30% increase in Apobio Film's anti-drying efficacy compared to the control group.

Providing a silicone-like effect without the buildup effect, Apobio Film stands out as a natural, environmentally friendly alternative active ingredient.

In vitro tests reveal Apobio Film's skin soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, the active ingredient shows promise in controlling oiliness, as evidenced by a 66.7% reduction in the expression of the enzyme 5-α-reductase responsible for this effect.
