The companies active in the German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association (IKW e. V.) provide their expertise on the products they manufacture in the form of recommendations for quality assessments to the public.
These recommendations for quality assessments are developed in working groups and are intended to enable qualified assessments of the relevant products carried out by manufacturers and testing institutes. They describe quality characteristics that the respective products achieve the effects expected by consumers and manufacturers.
