The focus of this publication is Propanediol Benzoate (3-Hydroxypropyl Benzoate).
This article explores the role of Propanediol Benzoate (Savelite® HB) in cosmetic formulations. It examines its value-added properties, including its contribution to product protection strategies, its role in supporting formulation stability, its specific benefits in hair care applications, and its contribution to maintaining a healthy, moisturized skin ecosystem as a multifunctional. In addition, its relevance for supporting more sustainable formulation approaches is discussed. These aspects are presented in light of available literature and supporting technical data.
