Do you remember 2019? It felt like the last “normal” year, and all the years since then have been marked by “wild cards,” i.e., events are now reality, that were actually unimaginable and only described in science fiction. Business leaders and politicians emphasize it every day: we are living in an era of unprecedented challenges. Of course, there have always been crises, but for around 80 years now, we have been confronted with an unprecedented variety of simultaneous problems – from economic to ecological and social. Our preparations and our strategic, future-oriented responses are currently more than inadequate.
