Symrise AG has increased its holdings in the US company Kobo Products Inc. The transaction increases the Symrise stake in the pigment and powder specialist to 49%. The transaction creates further opportunities for both companies in the fields of mineral UV filters and decorative cosmetics.
At its meeting on 1 December, the Supervisory Board of Symrise AG once again extended the contract of Chief Executive Officer Dr Heinz-Jürgen Bertram ahead of schedule.
On October 24, 2019, Symrise became a member of the global initiative RE100. By joining RE100, the fragrance and flavoring manufacturer from Holzminden has committed to completely obtaining its energy from renewable sources by 2025.
The opening ceremony of The Little Red House took place on May 18, 2023. During the event, Symrise fine fragrance perfumers Alexandra Carlin and Maxime Exler, Deputy President of Fragrance Ricardo Omori, Global Fragrance President Eder Ramos, and other key team members welcomed clients, influencers, and media.
