In 2025, Seppic has chosen to draw inspiration from cinema and the emotions it evokes to create new cosmetic formulations, particularly for In-cosmetics. Seppic will be presenting a collection of six formulas, whose textures and concepts are reminiscent of blockbuster films, transforming them into inspiring formulations for skin care, hair care and nutricosmetics, for truly sensory experiences.
As a sneak peek at the collection, which will be unveiled during the tradeshow, Seppic presents the formula Ode to Mother Nature. Inspired by the movie “Avatar”, this light green thick skincare cream is nourishing and has a medium to long playtime. After massage, the skin remains soft, comfortable and not greasy.
With a naturalness profile of 99.1%*, this inspiring formula was developed by Seppic's teams based on biomimicry. Used as an emulsifier, the organisation of Montanov™ 202 (Arachidyl behenyl alcohol, Arachidyl glucoside) amphiphilic molecules into lamellar layers, known as liquid crystals, improves both the stability and compatibility of the formulation with the skin. Those lipids having a similar structure to skin, Montanov™ 202-based emulsions offer biomimetic textures.
Join Seppic at In-cosmetics 2025 Amsterdam the 08-10 of April at the booth 5D110 to guess which other movies have inspired the whole beauty collection.
